DocketAI Named a Cool Vendor in the Gartner® Cool Vendors™ in AI-Led Sales Research

Recently, DocketAI was named a Cool Vendor in Gartner’s 2024 Cool Vendors in AI-Led Sales research. It’s exciting, and it’s the kind of news that makes me pause and reflect.

The Gartner Cool Vendor designation is something many companies look toward—not because it’s about recognition for recognition’s sake, but because it signals that what you’re building is solving a real problem. For DocketAI, it means we’re not just another AI product in the crowded GenAI market; we’re helping change how sales teams operate, grow, and win. It’s validation of a vision we’ve been working tirelessly toward: making life easier for enterprise revenue teams

If you’ve ever sold something complex—a product with deep technical requirements or heavy documentation—you know how much effort, time, and manual work goes into getting a deal over the finish line. It’s exhausting, and it can keep your best people tied up with time-consuming tasks like finding answers to nuanced questions, filling RFPs, or creating context-relevant collateral.

That’s the exact problem we set out to solve. We didn’t start DocketAI to win awards. We set out on this journey to make a meaningful difference to go-to-market teams who deserve better. To help teams that aren’t able to unlock winning sales knowledge trapped in top-performers’ brains or want to increase every seller’s revenue without them having to stress out about quota. It’s validating to now see our work highlighted by Gartner, and it pushes us to keep going.

Based on our research, there are 5M AEs in the world and there are 7M+ Support and Success people. There are only 100K to 200K Sales Engineers. We dream of a world where each person in the Sales and Post Sales team has access to a sales engineer who understands the product, deal, customer, and market contexts. There is a lot more to cover to get there, but we are well on our way.
